Himandhoo (Dhivehi: ހިމެންދޫ) is one of the inhabited islands of Alif Alif Atoll. According to The Hindu a community of jihadist established a "Islamist mini-state" on the island, that followed Shariah law, modeled after the Taliban.[1]
